HOW MUCH ARE DUES?
Dues are tiered based on when you pay + $100 MOOP deposit:
Before April 1st $400
April 1st to May 31st $500
June 1st to July 31st $650
WTF IS A MOOP DEPOSIT?
It’s like a little challenge we set up to keep everyone engaged and our playa spotless! Here’s how you can get your deposit back and be the champ of camp:
Join a Crew: Whether it's pre-playa planning, post-playa wrap-up, or mid-burn madness, hop onto a team and dive into the fun.
Do Your Shifts: Sign up and show up for your burn week shifts—could be slinging drinks at the bar or sparking joy at one of our activities.
Strike a Pose (on Strike Day): Put in a solid 7-hour shift tearing down our setup on Sunday. Show that teardown who’s boss!
Last Call for Clean-Up: Stick around till the final MOOP sweep Monday morning. Check out with camp leads and let’s leave no trace and exit in style!
Be cool: Inclusivity reins supreme with our fam so be kind and bring good vibes! These relationships can last a lifetime.
Ace these, and your MOOP deposit will zoom right back to you—plus you’ll have the undying gratitude of your campmates and a spotless playa to show for it. Let’s keep it clean and have a blast!

Once you've completed your intake form, interview and have been officially welcomed by our Camp Leads.
Keep an eye on your inbox. You'll receive an invoice from Paper Cranes Camp (sent from mailer@waveapps.com) titled “Invoice from Paper Cranes Camp.” This is to let you know about your pending dues. Please pay asap/ before the payment period of your dues tier is over. Ex. Accepted May 9th so would need to pay before June 1st when the dues increase to $650.
Just so you know, the big date to circle on your calendar is July 31st, 2025. That’s our dues deadline, and getting your payment in by then really helps us set up for success. If you're ready to roll and can swing it, paying now would be super helpful and appreciated. Thanks for keeping things smooth and speedy, and get pumped for what’s sure to be an epic time at Burning Man with us!

Paper Cranes Camp is officially recognized as a social club so while this awesome it means we can’t take payments through Venmo or PayPal anymore, but no worries! We’ve set up a variety of convenient payment options for you to choose from, listed in order of our preference. Just pick the one that works best for you and get ready to secure your spot for an unforgettable Burning Man experience with us. Thanks for making the payment process as smooth as possible!
